The purpose of this website is to both provide you with some basic information and a cursory understanding of my professional history. Furthermore, you can retrieve links and download important forms that you will need prior to coming to your first session.
I have been working in the field of psychology since the mid-1980's. I attended and received my Masters of Arts Degree from Pepperdine University in 1984 and became a licensed Marriage, Family Therapist in 1986.
Since that time I have continually been in private practice; working primarily with individual adults, as well as adolescents, couples, families and groups.
I have additionally worked as a program director for an out-patient substance abuse facility; coordinated the bereavement program for a non-profit Hospice; and taught in the psychology department of California Polytechnic State University.
All Clients who are considering treatment will need to print and sign the Informed Consent and Information Forms.
I am no longer a Provider for any Insurance Companies; meaning that all Clients are required to pay for their sessions at the time of service.
From the Home page (the one you are on right now) You can access the rest of these forms by clicking on the Tabs at the left of the page.
Couples who are planning on attending for the first time will also need to go to the Services Provided link and print and sign the "No Secrets" form.
